Who is your guitar hero? Mine is Gary Moore. I listened to this guy when I grew up. <iframe title="YouTube video player" width="640" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/c5ECaMU7csY" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> The great song starts at 3:30. I just found out he has passed away a few months ago. (1952-2011). RIP.

Heh, as soon as I looked at my post, I asked myself why I didnt mention SRV...one of my all-time favorites. I was just over at youtube pulling up Stevie vids, and came across this one. Embedding is disabled, so you gotta clicky the link...but its well worth it. Judging from his start, this kid is well on his way to becoming someone's guitar hero. http://youtu.be/UGTfDf4b5oE
Robin Trower <iframe title="YouTube video player" width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/x0d1HilfLxA" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I'm so glad somebody mentioned him. I wouldn't consider him my "guitar hero" but damn is he criminally underrated. My guitar hero would have to be Angus Young. His riffs are so simple but they kick so much ass. And he just knows how to play to a crowd. SRV would be a very, very, very close second. Nobody can make the guitar sing like he could. He was in an entirely different league of his own when it came to playing with emotion.
My uncle was a stoner, and he wore his Robin Trower LPs out. LOL Certainly underrated. <iframe title="YouTube video player" width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/RVU4PoPbSlQ" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
