On a serious note: I got my son Guitar Hero one week ago and would now like to sell it. Anybody interested?

Let me guess, you're tired of hearing I Love Rock and Roll 400 times per day? Kids cannot get enough of that song.

    Great game though.

$40.00. Guitar included. It's a fun, novel game and can be addictive; but not any longer in my house. :D

    OMG

i bought it for my nephew, and he is a spoiled brat and sore loser, and that's his favorite song because it's so easy.

on a side note, he also likes "Ziggy Stardust" and "Ironman". I never thought my 8 year old nephew would become a fan of Bowie and Sabbath.

What's the concept of the game?

I figure, a plastic guitar, songs, and you play the songs. But, is it hard? I suck at guitar, and can't play a lick. Would I be able to play this game?

FYI: I LOVE games like Karaoke Revolution and Dance Dance.

    Attention A_3PO:

I just played it at Walmart tonight for the first time ever and I found it very entertaining.

I know Miguel is interested, but so am I. I can come by anytime (ASAP) and anywhere (within reason) with cash in hand ($41.00 cash) :D

It's basically DDR but instead of your feet you use 5 buttons on a guitar. It has a working whammy bar too, for "real life distortion!" :D

I'm currently learning on the real thing and needless to say, this is MUCH easier. I had never played it at all, picked it up the display controller (guitar) at Walmart, and as soon as I figured out how the buttons worked I was doing quite well. Of course, that was on only the 2nd hardest of 4 difficulty settings. I guess I would say that being able to play a real guitar might help you a little (finger coordination, strength, etc.) but it's definitely not a prerequisite at all.

    Ahem... Sorry.

( if y'all don't see the similarities to me on this one, then I've never truly spoken. Most people see me as a better looking version of Bluto. Hell, I was the social chair for two years.)

They've got the tracks set but they're not announcing all of them. They have announced:

Reverend Horton Heat - "Psychobilly Freakout"
    KISS - "Strutter"
    Black Sabbath - "War Pigs"
Butthole Surfers - "Who Was in My Room Last Night?"
Van Halen - "You Really Got Me" (covering a cover. Cool)
    Rush - "YYZ"
    Primus - "John the Fisherman"
    Drist - "Arterial Black"
Stone Temple Pilots - "Trippin' on a Hole in a Paper Heart"
    Anthrax - "Madhouse"
Motley Crue - "Shout at the Devil"

There's video of some of the songs at IGN. The STP song is the first example of the 3 button chords they've put in for the sequel.

What is this, the Price is Right?

Anyway, A_3PO, shoot me an email, unless you're going to take an offer of 1-2 dollars more.
