I read a quote from the team's coach, who basically said they have him back because all the other foreign players they tried out stunk, and that they hope Kirk is mentally stable enough to play, but if not, they'll have another chance to get someone else a couple months into the season. I mean... geez, you hire a guy, freshly out of jail after doing what Kirk did, and just HOPE he's mentally stable? Friggin hilarious.
I recognize a few of them, Bonzi, Harris, Snyder and Yao. Who are the rest of these guys? For some reason I am drawing a blank, and these are fairly recent Rocket players, too... must be training camp fodder, no?
i can't believe it either, but then again i'm a LSU fan so i wanted him to do well, especially after all the hype he got and being drafted 2nd and all. i'm sure he's still raking in some money over there.
Indeed. I don't know which is more laughable, the sucketh of those players in the tryouts or the justificatons claimed by the coach.
