Ok I thought this would make things a little entertaining while I search for FT employment.

The game: Be the closest to guess when Drewdog will get a legitimate FT job offer (example: November 15th - yeah right :D)

The reward: $50 cold hard cash.

First come first serve. If you accidentally make a mistake and guess a date that has already been posted, you will be automatically disqualified.

    Good Luck!

I'm 6 days from my 10 month anniversary of being laid off and unemployed. 10 ****ING MONTHS without work or income!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know Refman is at 7 months. The market is crap.

The holiday season is a terrible time to find a job so I think the job search will continue into the new year {although I hope I`m wrong} and will predict Jan 24th 2003. Are you collecting unemployment or working odd jobs to keep yourself afloat?

    January 6th.

BTW, I am gonna start at an apartment locator in Austin in January. E-mail me if you or any of your friends need apartments.

The Austin job market sucks. I've used Monster, helpwanted, etc. it sucks. It's starting to trickle down into the restaurant business. Allegedly, the Ultimate Cheesecake factory here in Austin had 400 applicants for bartender in one day. I think there were only 10 bartender positions.

I'm a pretty qualified waiter, but while I used to get hired on the spot, I now get the "we'll call you" because they know 80 other guys will apply.

You may pay me in advance!:)

Good luck on the hunt. The job market everywhere sucks right now...not just in Austin.

Tough to find a job at this time of the year, but fret not alot of people will be switching jobs once they get their year end (Christmas) bonus.

    Good luck!
