So has anyone bothered to try to access them on the PC or PS2? While I hear and don't expect it to be visually stimulating, it does sound good for a laugh.
i tried to sell it back today at gamestop and they woudln't take it back b/c they took it off the shelves b/c it got bumped up to adult rating.
my roommate tried to buy it today.. he had the same problem.. the clerk was like "sorry, we just pulled the game off the shelves literally 20 minutes ago"
yeah i work at a circuit city here in la and we got an email today saying that the game must be pulled off the shelves because of the new rating. i still saw it on our pc shelves (we only have one copy) but i dont know about xbox/ps2....so there is nudity in the game that made it become adults only?
Only in America could a game that involves running over people, stealing cars, commiting crime, the selection and use of many different types of weapons etc be pulled off the shelves for sex.... That being said, I love this game!
That really pisses me off, I was going to buy it after the price reduction, now I may not be able to get it since it'll probably go for a lot more online now. What will Rockstar do? They stand to lose a ****load of money unless they go back and edit the game to get it back down to an M rating. A good chunk of all video game retailers are kid's stores like KB Toys, Toys-R-Us, then you have Wal-Mart which will certainly drop it. They better do something.
I have seen the video, sad I know by Googling it. Thing is that Rockstar denies that they put it in the game and that hackers did it, but Gamestop said they did it on a PS2 and they saw it, and since you can't add data to PS2 discs, that means Rockstar did it.
Recently, Rockstar finally confessed to it being on the game and not a hack: http://www.betanews.com/article/RockStar_Confirms_Sex_Mod_Not_a_Hack/1121884637 Not to say it couldn't have been the work of a rogue programmer(s) though, or something like that. For all of you who are worried about getting the game, I wouldn't be. It sounds like a lot of the stores that are taking them off the shelves may just be doing so in order to give them time to put on some AO stickers (think EB Games is doing this). Other stores are just waiting for Rockstar to provide "patched" versions of the game, making it rated "M" again. There are some stores like Wal-mart and Best Buy that may not put it on the shelves even after Rockstar fixes this, but I don't think anyone has to resort to paying $65 for the game on ebay. As far as the whole rating issues, I gave most of my comments on that in the D&D version of this thread.
I just got an xbox and will buy this game, so how do you get this to work on your game? Or is it just on the PC version?
