3/24/09 Game Thread Golden State @ San Antonio -- Spurs have lost 2 straight games plus they are at home.. doubt they lose this game.... but Warriors still might have a chance, Go Warriors!
The Spurs will whip the Warriors and show them why discipline and playing both ends of the court matters. I'd love to be wrong but I don't think I will be.
Spurs have been sucking wind lately because they are running out of gas. Manu's absence has drained them and TD just isn't right. Still, ain't no way the lose at home to a team like the Warriors.
If the Warriors can get the Spurs running up and down the floor they can pull off the upset. It won't be easy because the Spurs are so disciplined and the Warriors...well they are a mess and disorganized...but if the Warriors are going to win this game they are going to have to play their style obviously.
26-23, Warriors down three. If they can pull off the upset that would be some huge help going into Utah.
Is Duncan injured? why has he only played 4 minutes till middle of the 2nd quarter (he hasn't got a foul till now) ?
I haven't been able to watch it, but I wouldn't be surprised if Popovich was resting him. They play in Atlanta tomorrow, and Popovich gives his stars time off so they'll be fresh for the Playoffs. Maybe he didn't like the up and down style that GolXen State plays.
I just started watching the game halfway through the 3rd quarter and I've seen about 5 blatant fouls that the Spurs got away with.
was going to watch SAS-GSW but couldn't find a stream,(not looking for one now, Rox bout to start) how many mins lefT? what is going on?
