Warriors looking solid up by 12 with 4 minutes left in half. Even with Gasol and Bynum returning, I think warriors could give LA some trouble in the 1 vs 8 match up if thats how the rest of the season plays out.

Warriors do a great job of creating turnovers.

is luke walton throwing this game? those were 2 of the worst back to back turnovers i've maybe ever seen watching an nba game. the second pass it looked like he really meant to just throw it to the warriors.

Golden State up HUGE at the half. If they sweep the back-to-back with the Lakers and the Rockets take care of business against the Kings tomorrow night, they'll pass L.A. in the standings.

We'll also pass the Suns if they lose against the Pistons.

Lakers' pgs are really bad! If there was no BJ to control the tempo for us another day, the rockets might lose like the lakers.

dude, i'm not hating on tmac, but seriously, you can't blame kobe, because of injuries.

a laker fan could say the samething about us.

tmac without yao and landry > avg rockets team.

plus, we aren't in any position to talk. we were down pretty bad too, against the suns.

11-3 is not all i say "average" for the rockets team. 20-12 last yr is not what i call "average" for the rockets team without yao.

if healthy, the lakers are stacked at EVERY position. kobe is not that much better than tmac at leading a team. they both do different things to help their team win (kobe scores more; tmac facilitates much better).

but again, if the rockets were in their position right now, people would have murked tmac for "not having heart."

all i'm saying is people have to be thankful for what tmac does for this team. he might not be as flashy with all the high scoring games, but he makes everyone else better.

Put Gasol and Bynum (especially Bynum) back and suddenly this team isn't so easy to drive on. Well, their wings will still play crappy perimiter defense but at least they will have 7 footers down there to contest....

Kobe is actually playing at pg this quarter, it seems better.

    here comes LA.

PHX and GS are so similar that they can go dead cold for 5 minutes at a time even when they are blazing hot earlier in the game.

Is it just me, or are these LA Laker commentators totally unbiased?

They seem so objective even when the other team is doing well that it's not that obvious that they work for the Lakers.

t-mac does wonders for the rockets, he is an excellent player. He is not in the same discussion as Kobe, (not anymore).

Golden State's defense is umm...I can't think of a word other than terrible. They're all heart and offensive skill and quickness.

Down to 81-74. The Lakers beating the Warriors is as natural as apple pie and baseball. There is just something about them that causes the Warriors to tighten up and not be themselves.

Still, without Gasol, I think the Lakers will fall tonight.

kobe's got the tmac-itis tonight. just shooting all long jumpers every time he iso's. he usually forces the issue much more, especially against such a crappy defense.

and vladrad really is always just off in space out there most of the time. that foul at the end of the 3rd, the awkward drive, he just never seems all there.

and man, fisher looked he just hammered wright and they didn't call anything.
