Grooming

    I just realized I went all of 2002 without a bath. My last one was right after Christmas 2001. 365+ days with only showers. This got me to thinking, if you were to rate yourself on your personal grooming (1-10 with 10 being the neatest) what would you be?

    Before marriage, I was a solid 3... shower and wash hair, brush teeth, maybe a shave, little else. Domestication has brought me up to perhaps a 6... I look out for nose and ear hairs, clip my toenails, regularly apply deodorant, and shave on most work days.

    As an aside, does anyone take a bath on a consistent basis?

    I'm pretty sure that a bath will clean you pretty well too. What are you worried about? From what I've learned in life, soap is the important part not how water is applied.

    Now that's funny! :)

    I would say that I am about a 7 - prior to marriage still a 7. I take a bath/shower daily, brush teeth, floss, clean ears, clip toes/fingers, etc. but I am a slacker when it comes to shaving.

    I'm pobably a six on a good day, I really don't care anymore, on a normal day I'm clean but who really cares if that last hair doesn't want to do as it's told? Not me, in the past though in say high school I was probably a high 8 as far as appearance was concerened.

    Just remember to wash your ass and pits and your cool with me.

    Depending on what I have going that day, I range from a 6 to an 8.5.

    As for taking baths, we have a garden tub with jacuzzi jets. I get the water as hot as I can stand and sit in there with the jets going for nearly and hour after hard days. Hhaaaaaaaa......

    I'm a 9.0. I'm a hygiene freak, lone exception being that I hate shaving daily, so I look pretty scraggily most of the time. Plus I go months between haircuts and usually wear a cap to hide the fact.

    I'm probably a 9, but my wife is a 25...She's always taking a bath...

    BTW, does anybody else shampoo their pubes?? I figure that your pubic hair probably takes more abuse than your regular hair, so you should dab a little shampoo in there while you are showering to keep them soft and manageable...mousse is optional...
