Brevin Knight is playing really well. He had 16 assists and only 1 turnover against the Heat, and has had 15+ assists in the last 3 games. For the season, he's averaging 8.7 assists in only 29 mins per game with only 2.1 turnovers. I know he was a free agent at the end of last year, so how did he end up playing in Charlotte for the minimum?
Here's a quiz for you, who was on the Rockets roster at the time they lost to the Bobcats? On a side note though, it's swept not sweeped.
For people who constantly bring up the Rockets and Bobcats here's information at the time the Rockets lost twice to Charlotte. The Rockets record the last time they lost to Charlotte, 12-14. The Rockets didn't have Jon Barry, David Wesley OR Mike James. The Rockets were still playing their slow down style with zero chemistry since we had very little guard play. Think about that the next time someone tries to point out the Rockets got swept by Charlotte. The Rockets were a sub.-500 team a the time, and are a .700+ winning team since picking up the above mentioned players.
The real question now is will DENVER bypass Memphis for the #7 spot! Denver is REALLY charging HARD! They are now only ONE game back of Memphis! I dont think anyone wants to play Denver in the 1st round of the playoffs. I think Denver could give Phoenix or SA some problems. I STILL hate Karl with a passion. But giving credit where credit is due, he is doing a good job for the team.....this year.
^well, someone who only posts here when his team is winning still thinks that the Griz will finnish above us and we "already shot our wad" in the 8 game streak
The Grizz lose again, at Chicago, and fall 2 games back of the Rox in the loss column (4 games in the win column). Taking a look at their remaining schedule, I guess they aren't the threat to overtake the Rox that I thought they were. Can someone that follows them comment on their team chemistry? What is their team identity (if you know what I mean)? What is it they rely on repeatedly to win games? Defense? Outside shooting? What about them strikes fear into other teams? Who is their floor leader? Who is their "go to" guy in crunch time? Pardon my ignorance. I actually like Fratello, and most of their players (with a couple of notable exceptions) seem to be high character guys. But to me, they seem destined to lose in the first round again.
The Grizz lose again and get outscored 30-21 in the 4th quarter by Seattle who's missing Rashard Lewis, in addition to Fortson & Radmanovic. Memphis won't be upsetting anyone in the 1st round of the playoffs if they keep playing like this.
