I'm not sure what other fans saw, but I saw a weakness from the PF spot. KT and Taylor are not playing, so what, Griffin needs to step up and score some points. I don't blame the man that much because the offense didn't give him the ball that much, but something needs to change. We need points from the 4 position. I know Rudy has seen it and it will change, but 2 points is too obvious to not point out.

Drafting players as young as Eddie has its drawbacks,,His inconsistant shooting and underdeveloped inside game are the reason he needs more seasoning before he becomes a starter. We are loaded at the positions Eddie plays..there is no rush, let him build his confidence against subs for now..His time will come,,,SOON......

The offense didn't give him the ball enough? He took 11 shots and misssed 10 of them. I think he had enough of a chance last night. EG looked really nervious and hesitant out there so he didn't really deserve to get the ball much more than what he did. He's a young player so I'm not particularly worried about him but if we are going to be critical of Francis for scoring almost 40 we have to observe the bad play of EG, Boki, Collier, Ming, and Norris.

EG did not look very intense either. He seems very hesitant about going after a rebound. I know he does not have all the bulk, but he is not really getting after it in the rebounding department. Of course it has been only one game, but come on EG, show us some fire.

RocDreamer, I agree with you that EG looked very hesitant out there on Wednesday night. He also looked slow , lethargic, and uninterested. There really isn't alot of excuse for that, except he, and a lot of other players are still tired from training camp (like Yao). That should not be the case, however.

I really don't think that his bulk is the problem with his rebounding. It was his aggression, or lack there of. Rebounding, and defense are supposed to be his specialty, as of now, before his offensive game develops. His bulk should not be a problem anymore than it was last season getting rebounds, and it shouldn't be, seeing tat he's added like 13 lbs of muscle. He has the super gifts to be a great rebounder/defender, he just looked "hesitant" to use them against the Pacers. We'll see if he can change that against Nenne Hilario and the Nuggz.

Even though you guys say he was nervous or hesitant or whatever. Didnt he have 8 rebounds. That is still pretty good.

I didnt get to watch the game, but once he starts being ascertive that maybe if he got 8 then maybe he will explode for rebound numbers like Cato had.

Face it EG will never be a firey type of player. We will have to get that fire from another position. It's not his personality and I don't think he will every change.
