I was just wondering since we don't get to see much of EG, before the draft the Rocks staff said they would have taken EG #1 if we had the #1 pick. Is this still the case?

In my humble opinion, at least 5 players (Gasol, Tinsley, Brown, Richardson, Chandler, Curry, Parker) looks like they are gonna be better, not that they are all better fits on the rockets. And don't give me that high-school long-term stuff because EG seems to be looong-term.

I am dissapointed that Gasol and Battier are playing better than Eddie. However, a lot of teams blew it on Tinsely and Parker, but if the draft were re-done I doubt anyone would take them top 6--though Tinsely might be close. Further, Parker is on the best possible team for him to have good production, and Tinsley is a well seasoned guy on a team he also fits real well.

Of the frontline players around Griffin's age, it would seem only Gasol (who has more high level experience) and perhaps Curry are doing any better. Chandler, Kwame (who is older and stronger than Eddie) and White (who also is stronger and who many thought could impact right away) have probably done (and proven) even less than Eddie. Even so, if the draft we redone, I am not sure much would change, I am not sure if the Wiz would take Gasol or Curry over Kwame, or that we would take any player over Griffin at where we picked.

Also, other guys who seems to being doing pretty well you left out are the SF Johnson and Kirilenko (where did the Jazz find him, was he drafted this/last year?).
