Thumb X-rays negative but won't make trip.

Ever notice you don't see Griffin and Horry on the court at the same time? Hmmmmm. I knew they were the same person.

    Bad news!! :(

We could really use Eddie against the Spurs. Now who is going to guard Tim Duncan? We can put Yao on him and hope that our rookie doesn't get abused two nights in a row.

Mo can't guard Duncan. He is too short for that.

I think that we should start Cato at PF tomorrow.

If we win without Eddie, it won't be coincendental.

I hope Eddie comes back for the east coast road trip. If isn't back by then, the Rockets can kiss the playoffs goodbye.

You think Eddie's that valuable to the Rockets? If Eddie is out for an extended period of time and the Rox don't play well, it'll be b/c they just don't play well. I surely hope they don't use Eddie's potential absence as a crutch.

Actually.......Eddie is valuable....especially on defense. And he knows our "system" better than Terence Morris. I hope he's all right...

Hopefully Mo Taylor won't get in quick foul trouble in this game trying to defend Duncan! T-Mo will obviously be getting a fair amount of time at the 4 tonight.

i really want eddie griffin to become the star we all hope for, but is anyone concerned about his shot stroke? i think hell have to change in order for his shot to be better, and maybe if he picks up his dribble occasionally

Morris is about the same as Griffin. Morris may even be better right now.

I dissagree. Eddie is getting more aggressive with his rebounding. Reminds me of a younger, light-skinned Cato out there. :)

A more aggressive rebounder? Yes that's a compliment. Anytime you go after balls instead of standing there and getting lucky that the ball bounces your way, is a big compliment to such a young fellow.

 :) That's funny...you make it sound as though Eddie has been controlling Duncan in their previous matchups!

I guess if nothing else, he would've been good for some boards and six more available fouls on Duncan.:D

No start Kelvin Cato. Better matchup with Tim Duncan. MoTay retains his off the bench spark plug role. Send Tito to the IR and bring up Jason Collier for an extra 7-foot body.

Larry Smith will be a genius if he did just that.
