    EDDIE GRIFFIN - HOUSTON ROCKETS ROOKIE

    • In 34 games this season, has averaged 7.8 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.71 blocks
    • In six starts, has averaged 18.7 points (on .489 shooting), 9.5 rebounds and 2.83 blocks
    • Among NBA rookies, stands fourth in rebounding average, fourth in blocks per game, andthird in 3-point percentage, holding the distinction of being the only rookie to rank in thetop five of his class in all of these categories
