I think the Rockets asked about Vazquez at the trading deadline. I am sure they are interested in him. Would be a good addition and his contract ends after next season. Fits right inline with the Rockets cap clearing for 2016.

Let the Wolves have him. The Raptors can keep him if they wish.

Maybe he's a two-birds-one-stone guy. 27 mpg or so, entices Llull to come over (or to give Llull someone to commiserate with, i.e., "Can you believe the Spanish they speak here? I can barely understand a word.")

That would be a great pickup. The Raptors need a PF so I could see them taking TJones back in a deal.

Big fan of Vasquez. Very good passer, ball-handler, & shooter. I also really like his SG size (and being a close friend of KD doesn't hurt).

While my affinity for Vasquez's game isn't on par with the Rubio/Jopat lovefest, the guy is a very good point guard. Sure he's not elite and he's not in the same class as a Lawson but he can play starting point guard if need be.

His numbers when he started for New Orleans a few years back: 43%/34%/81% for 14/9/4 per game. Again, not elite but ain't shabby either considering the two best offensive players he had to pass to was Eric Gordon and Ryan Andersen.

Plus he's going into the last year of his contract next season. If he doesn't work out then both sides part ways and we just shed another contract for the summer of Durant.

Seems like a backup plan...like "now that all the good free agents have signed, what are we supposed to do with Papanikolaou's non-guaranteed contract?"

I like Vasquez, but how much would it cost to get him? He's making $6.6m next year so Papa's contract alone is enough, but is his value enough? I'd expect them to ask for Jones, but I'd like to get better return for TJ + Papa.

Why would the T-Wolves be interested? Do they think they'll be able to compete next year?

Under $9.8 million incoming trade, so I believe it's outgoing times 150%. Papa would be enough.

    Not bad as a backup.

    Not good as a starter.
