It's funny. He comes to us as part of the Brand trade. We traded Brand for Chandler and Skinner. We traded Skinner for Oakley and a 2nd round pick. We traded that pick for Anthony. Brand for Chandler, Oakley and Anthony. Not bad. Got some potential and some experience for the guy. I hear Fizers been tearing the summer leagues and pickup games with MJ up. So much so that they sent him home. That gives you guys a freebie when we play you. ------------------

That's funny, I always considered playing the bulls a freebie On another note, at least there seems to be a point to that Brand trade now - getting some experienced players never hurts (especially not an ailing franchise!), the presence of Oak and Ant might net a few extra W's over last years record. ------------------
GB is right, the Bulls are making some decent moves to improve their talent level and position themselves to target free agents of the future. The only thing that could happen is that the whole Jerry Krause plan could backfire and Chicago will be stuck with a bunch of underacheiving kids and a few players that are past their prime. I think we can all agree though that it will be a few years before the Bulls are a legitimate playoff possibility, but only time will tell. ------------------ Anger is a weed. Hate is a tree.
