Just got back from an absolutely fascinating 6 days in various parts of Greece. I had the chance to visit the stunning island of Santorini, Athens, Cape Sounio and Delphi. Each place breathtaking in it's own right.

The last trip as a single man ... getting married in about 6 weeks' time!! :)

As always, I thought I'd share the pictures, so here are a few snapshots, and the links:

Beautiful pictures. Where is that amphitheater? If I were an actor back then, I'd be competing with the view... "Hello?!?!?! The play is down here, man!" - me to the audience. :D

The amphitheater is in Delphi, where the famed/mythical Oracle of Delphi was once located.

I was in Greece when I was about 16 (14-or-so years ago). It was stunning.

Delphi is pretty much the coolest place I've ever been to.

What is even more amazing about Delphi is the sheer size of the Temple, and to think that the columns were brought up there in one piece. Our guide was telling us they had a statue there also which was approximately 38meters high!

The town itself is 800-900 meters above sea level!

For me personally, I enjoyed Cape Sounio the most ... just for the remoteness and the gorgeous sunset. Santorini was also stupendous!

Hey SJC ... thank you. I actually didn't have time to goto the beach, altho the one I did see driving upto Io from the harbor was gorgeous :) I just had enough time to see all the touristy things and get back on the plane.
