So what do you think. Here are my picks: Pearl Harbor. Probably the best trailer I've ever see in a theater. I had goosebumps watching it: <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/CsqCQaFX1uU"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/CsqCQaFX1uU" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object> Matrix Reloaded. I remember this trailer really amped me up for the film. <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/F0On9Hf7Quc"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/F0On9Hf7Quc" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object> Spiderman 2. Loved the slow motion bit. Very well done. <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/go5MhFDCsxI"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/go5MhFDCsxI" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object> 300. Saw this and made me think of this topic. <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Zq1h5fu7334"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Zq1h5fu7334" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object> Garden State. And for a change of pace, here's a non-action movie with a terrific trailer. <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/9-VgUgEC52I"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/9-VgUgEC52I" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>
300, i dont think i've been this excited to see any movie after seeing a trailer. cept of course matrix reloaded. Blade 2 trailer got me hyped also. ...um thats about it.
300 was probably the best trailer i have seen in a while it got me so pumped to see the movie. sadly, i liked the trailer 1000x more than the actual movie itself. but the guy who made the trailer did a damn good job thats for sure.
The 300 Trailer was one of the best i have seen in a while that got me really interested in seeing a movie. I haven't seen in yet, but plan to next week. One that always sticks out for me though is the Terminator 2 trailer I saw in the movie theathers. It was better than whatever movie I was seeing at the time. I was blown away! I came out of the theater just thinking about T2. Also the Aliens trailer was pretty wild too!
I saw the Simpsons trailer on HDNET's "Nothing But Trailers" last night. Looks like it is going to be great.
i don't remember the matrix: reloaded trailer, but i loved the movie and i think it was right after that movie that they showed the matrix: revolutions trailer. and man that had me pumped for revolutions. sadly, it didn't live up to the hype like the first 2 movies. now that it's been mentioned, independence day was really great. i remember seeing the posters of various buildings being blown up so much that summer before it came out. you pretty much had to see that movie. LOTR: the two towers was also pretty damn good.
I remember seing the "Unbreakable" trailer (M. Knight's second flick after Sixth Sense blew up), and it looked like it was going to be the most amazing, chilling movie ever, which set the bar so high that it ended up dissapointing me. <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/-Qn-Cr5NgHI"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/-Qn-Cr5NgHI" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>
The new spider-man 3 trailer in 300 got applause and cheers from the audience I was in. If you don't know what I'm talking about, its the Venom trailer.

pearl harbor's trailer was tight and all but the actual movie was terrible imao. i mean when you make a movie about a critical time in united states history where thousands of people lost their lives it is probably best not to have it be historically inaccurate and then glorify it with a love story.
I would say that's an example of the trailer actually being better than the movie...and there's plenty cases of that.
