    Because of the Rap thread I thought that I would start a DJ thread.

    DJs and MCs have always gone hand in hand. but these days MCs usually overshadow the DJ. But just as there have been great rappers, there has also been great DJs.

    I start by giving it up to some old school greats

    Grand Master Flash
    Grand Wizard Theodore
    Grand Mixer D.S.T

    these guys laid the ground work and will always be considered great.

    I'm an up and coming DJ

    I have a mixtape out. It's just some good hip hop songs mixed together; no new releases like DJ Clue's mixtapes and whatnot.

    I don't think he is a DJ but if you are into Drum 'N' Bass/Jungle music, Aphrodite along with Goldie are great (I know that Aphrodite has done some re-mixes).
