[EDIT] Before wasting your time to read this post, don't I posted it still asleep and it's totally bogus. My apologies. I would delete, but I don't think you can once a response has been made. Most people on this group agree that we have two needs: center and small forward. How about we send #1 and Cato to Chicago for Miller and Rose. They would end up with the two top picks so it's hard to fathom them turning it down. We end up with an all-star 3 and a solid 5. PG: Francis SG: Mobly SF: Rose PF: Thomas C : Miller Imagine Franics, Mobes and Rose on the break! We personally have seen how Rose can dominate a game and there's no doubt he's a tenacious defender and tough clutch performer that doesn't rattle. Despite all the hoopla over all the other deals, I have yet to see one that gets us by the Lakers. I think that most would agree that the Rocks shouldn't be happy with just making the playoffs; but to turn this #1 pick into something that will win it all. I'm not saying Brad can play Shaq (noone can except Mourning in his prime). But I am saying that he can at least slow him down to the extent that he won't go off for 40/20 and beat us single-handedly. Against anyone else in the league he more than holds his own.
Sounds like a pretty good deal! Oh.... except for the part about getting Miller; Chicago traded him to Indiana last season as part of the trade that landed them Rose! But hey, sounded good didn't it
