The great thing about our draft picks is that they can be packaged with Cato directly to a team needing to re-stock an old and depleted roster (like Miami) in some sort of 3-way deal involving Anthony Mason for a player we want; or directly to a team, along with Walt, for the player we want (or pick) we want. Some teams need picks more than we do. If we draft, we should be able to land two really solid players. For some reason, though, I think we will be drafting for another team with these picks. The Rockets have nowhere to go but up babyyyyyyy!!! Come one when your team picks 10th and if a team in front of you wins the lottery your arse is going to move down one spot. Major bummer for that team and the fans. So, we as rocket fans don't have to hope those behind us don't win the lottery because the Rockets have no place but up to move to. And the Rocket have less than a 1% chance to win the lottery means nothing, because if you have a chance it's because there is a CHANCE "HOPE" But if odds go according to plan and the Rockets don't win it, the Rockets do pick 13th in a pretty good looking draft. This draft is at least 15 deep. So all is not lost. Joe Johnson, Loren Woods, Rodney White, Terrence Morris, the Arizona guy whose name I forgot, etc etc. Can all be there for the Rockets choosing. And if one of those guys isn't there its becasue someone passed on some of those highly touted high school centers. Great thing about picking 13th is that you are practically still guaranteed a quality started or a key role player to a championship team. Great thing about picking 13th is that ahead of you, the talented high school players are expected to go. So the Rockets are going to be getting players who are expected to contibute right away. Great thing about picking 13th is that your team is the best of the worst. Well in the Rockets case better than half the playoff teams in the East!!! One thing we have to look forward to is winning the lottery so keep you fingers crossed. The lottery is in May. So may (be) we can win it!!!!!! But if not, no disappointment here. ------------------
