KidRock....... quit being so damned negative. Do you actually listen to Kid Rock? Stop.

Download the satelight and write the word "Bacharach" into the search engine. Download everything that comes up. As your senior on this board, that's an order.

PSST! Kidrock...don't tell anybody I told you this, but a few years ago when Hakeem was still here, those jerseys were sold IN STORES!

No, really, they WERE! I couldn't believe it, either! I mean, kids were wearing them, adults were wearing them...It was crazy! How dare they desicrate the name of Hakeem Olajuwon!

Call me crazy, but I like the current uni's over the old ones. Granted, the current ones are hindered by the fat logo, but it still beats the hell out of those nasty red unis.

I don't mind the old home uni's as much as I do the blood-smeared road jerseys.

    LOL You're right. :D :D :D

Aww that's a great pic. Stevie rules. I hope our new jerseys are like our old ones, but with blue instead of yellow.

Man...that is one sweet photo. :D

A little on this from Sunday's Chronicle...

Guard Steve Francis arrived at Saturday's game wearing a huge smile and a vintage Hakeem Olajuwon Rockets road uniform.

"The first thing I saw was that smile on his face," coach Rudy Tomjanovich said. "It was great just to see he was OK, walking in here with that bright smile. But to see Dream's old jersey, put those two together and that's the whole package."

Francis said he bought the Olajuwon jersey about a month ago.

"Everybody wears the throwback jerseys," he said. "This is the only one I wear. I didn't want to cause any reactions wearing Dr. J (Julius Erving) or Jerry West. But I could hear, Dream. `Oh, Steve man. I had 34, 22 and 18 in that jersey. Oh, and that was in the first half.' "

That last line is hilarious! :D

Yeah, why doesn't the NBA do the same thing as the NFL and MLB and have games scheduled where teams wear their throw-back uniforms? I mean every team has altered their uniform by now. I think that would be a great idea.
