Great read about the state of NBA - If I Ruled the NBA World (Bill Simmons)

Don't flame me if this has already been posted somewhere, just lock please...I did a quick search and did not see it posted.

I've never been the biggest fan of Bill Simmons but for those wondering why we are having the lockout and its main issues this is a long but great read. He explains all of the issues AND actually even has some ideas for solutions on how to fix them unlike any other article you'll read. IMO they are great ideas and I agree with most of them, except for the one where he wants to base contract salaries for players on All-Star and All-NBA team appearances (imagine how much influence voters would have which could start a whole new market paying off voters)
