I almost didn't want to post this due to the number of threads I've made recently, not to mention the "Gaming Forum" thread in the Feedback forum, but this is too good to pass up...plus it isn't directly gaming related, although it is nice for those with a PSP and/or planning to get a PS3. Maybe some of you with Sony Ericsson phones or Sony cameras or other Sony devices will appreciate the news, although I imagine the posters interested in the PSP and PS3 will be more interested in seeing this.

Anyway, Newegg has some great deals on 1GB and 2GB Memory Stick Pro Duos. Here are the links:

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820191419 (1GB for ~$55)

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820191430 (2GB for ~$103)

If you're cool with rebates, here's a 1GB Pro Duo for ~$38 after rebate (~$78 before):
    http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicat...WVHOrAcHW9nsH&siteid=0029480694&CMP=AFC-AFFIL

Note that the offer expires on 2/11, so you'll have to do that pretty soon.

Also, there are 128MB MS Duos available at Circuit City for like $5, although you have to pick it up at the store (no shipping):

A good deal, although I'd hope for more storage personally.

It is going to be interesting to see how these prices will continue to drop in the next few years, especially when more and more of them are produced due to the PSP and PS3. Could the 4GB Pro Duos be around the same price in a year?

I now find myself laughing at the ~$20 and ~$40 you have to spend on a PS2 8MB memory card or a 64MB 360 memory card. :)

Again, sorry for all the threads but I felt like I had to post this one.

Cool. Too broke to get one myself, but I've sent the link out to a few people who might get one.

   ?

These are memory sticks for Sony electronic devices, not something for a PC (were you thinking RAM?) Eh...I guess as long as you have a MS-USB adapter, or your Sony device allows you to hook it up to the PC via USB, then your PC is "compatible."

    Maybe I misunderstood you.

It's not compatable with any motherboard, it's flash memory for Sony products (PSP's, Cameras, etc)
