    I believe it originally appeared at the end of the Vietnam War. At least I heard that on the radio this morning. It still seems very timely.
    I would encourage everyone to read it.

    This email actually appears everytime we "go into battle" with the text changed slightly to seemingly fit the occasion. This was circulated during Desert Storm, too. From doing a search it appears a Canadian broadcaster named Gordon Sinclair sent it out during the early 70's.
