a similiar mistake happened in the nba with an agent not filing for an extension.. i know it's the agents job, but... if your life is the sport you play don't you think you would yourself make sure that the things were done.... I sure would call my agent before the deadline just to make sure everything was done.. I know the players don't know all the details, but I sure would know when I have to file for free agency
yeah, guard for Miami...but not nearly the cost or stature of a Terrel Owens, who is possibly the best player in the NFL.
