Any fans here? I only got into them a couple years ago (which ended up being a couple years too late, they've broken up). I love'm -- "Testimony", "Truly, Truly", "Lone Star Song", and my personal fav "Fuzzy" are all worth a listen.
The guy also sings on the Velvet Goldmine soundtrack which is really good if you like the whole 70's glam rock thing. He has an incredibly overdramatic voice, much as was the case with the late Jeff Buckley.
I love "The Whole Shebang" (the track contributed to the Velvet Goldmine sountrack). GLB has this sweeping, cinematic thing going on -- rock n roll, but folksy at the same time....almost Americana. *BUMP*
