Yep and he'll retire next season too. Any NBA team who would sign him after all of this would have to be completely insane.

This is just sad.. I love Grant Hill and wish for the best, but I think he's done. Its a shame because he could've been one of the greats...

they haven't even evaluated him yet. This is merely speculation. What's more is that it is actually a wet dream of the Magic to have him retire. He is no longer the piece that solves the puzzle, but his salary slot is. If he would retire, they could pursue a big man to complete a developing dangerous team.

Grant Hill should retire just out of respect for Orlando. Then make a comeback with another team when he's healthy. That would make him a lot less wealthy, but a bigger hero when he finally does comeback.

That's really sad. I really like Grant Hill, he seems like a genuinly good guy and was a great ball player. Hell, he was one of the few Dookies that I could actually stand. If this is indeed true, I wish him well for his future...

Hill should retire for the sake of Magic franchise. They paid him a ton of money for nothing and now he should do what is right and call it quits.

    No, no, no....

    It's Lamisil AT.

It probably burned through his foot and ruined his ankle.

    This is better:

Why the heck should he retire? I think he already had a bum ankle when Orlando signed him. So they sort of took that risk.

Its easy for us to say he should retire, but I highly doubt any of us would willingly give back tens of millions of dollars.

If I am Orlando I just let Hill sit out so they can get any exemptions that are coming to them. They need to "move on" from the Hill days. He is just too unpredictable. They made a great trade to get Gooden and Giricek to pair with McGrady and they do have some cap space this summer so they need to build the team as if Hill is not there. At this point in his career Hill his holding this franchise back.

Even if Hill is able to start the season, does anyone think he'll be able to play for any length of time? Sadly Hill doesn't have a full season or anything even close to that still in him.

Yeah, that Orlando Magic curse REALLY affected Shaq....I mean, if he hadn't played for Orlando, he might have five titles and three MVP awards by now. :D
