I know we have some jazzers here and I haven't been able to get this answered at my usual musical haunts so I thought I'd give it a shot here: I am transcribing Grant Green's "Lazy Afternoon" but I can't quite get the chords right. Does anyone know them (and want to share them with an aspiring jazzer :))??

Ooh, a jazz thread! Grant Green is someone I am going to buy soon but I am going to purchase "Idle Moments".

    However, I unfortunately am not a musician, just a music lover (don't call me a critic:p ).

Jeff, if anyone, could probably answer this, but there might be someone else who knows the answer to your question.

Allow me to be the first (in this thread anyways) to congratulate you on your great taste :) Green is an amazing guitarist, just an incredible melody maker, and of my few jazz influences who's style seems to come out in EVERYTHING I play.

Just downloaded "Lazy Afternoon" by Grant Green and got some of it figured out.

    Am-Bm-Cmaj-Bm

    Dm-Em-Fmaj-Em

Haven't figured out the bridge yet.

Just what the Doc ordered, thanks Bob!!

I think the bridge part is:

    Dmin7-G7-Cmaj7-Fmaj7-B5flat7-E7#9-Amaj7

    I think...
