Rox Grading Hustle = F Speed = F Bench = F Role Players = F Execution = F we don't need to entirely revamp our offense into a pure run and gun team. We just need to be able to at least spell F a s t B r e a k. We need a few athletic g / f's that can go to the hole and finish at the rim in traffic.
Hustle = B- The hussle is there. Maybe not 100% of the time, but it's there most of the time. Speed = C- Our game plan is typically on the slow side, but our guys arne't terribly slow save Yao. Bench = C- I gave them this b/c without Deke, Juwan, and Luther playing as they did during the regular season, we might not have even made the playoffs. I gave them the minus b/c they were non-existent in the playoffs. Role Players = no grade Everyone is a role player, everyone has a role. It's whether or not they fulfilled their role. Execution = C For most of the season the team was very average with with execution throughout the games. Sometimes good, sometimes poor. Flashes of excellence, flashes of down-right, ugly basketball. But when it mattered most, execution was piss-poor.
I know we are disappointed about the way the season ended, and rightfully so. This team should have been able to get out of the first round. But to give all F's is absolutely ridiculous. We won 52 games during the regular season and lost to a really good Utah team in the playoffs. To give the Rockets all F's makes us look like the Atlanta Hawks, Memphis Grizzlies, Boston Celtics, Seattle Sonics. We are NOT an all F team. Face it.
