I would guess many kids today do not know how to use a computer because everyone uses mobile phones to access the internet.

Her comment as presented by the Tweet is racism and out of touch. I am not going to delve deeper or look at it in context because I don’t care that strongly about it either way.
Poor kids are less likely to own a computer. But the kids have access to computers at school and libraries.

she actually fired this chick a while back.

 

Yes Hochul fired her before this story broke so hard to tie this back to as something that Hochul supported.

 

I'm trying to think of a leftist who made it to the governorship level in America.

There might be a couple of state Rep level leftists but leftists hardly win out in state wide and federal elections.

 

Yup pretty much. I'm next door in Ontario so she's become my pseudo governor now that I go to New York frequently to do anything in the US. And like you I truly despise her (and the absolute incompetence of the NY Democratic Party).

I'm not even sure why anyone has to make up stories about her. She's a legitimately terrible governor who has done a whole host of dumb things during her tenure. Its pretty easy to pick a real story to criticize her over.

Funny thing is, my in laws live in Amherst just outside Buffalo, and they are die hard Eagles fans.

 

That Bills funding deal totally ticked me off. Close to a billion dollars of taxpayer funding for a stadium while NY has a million other issues to deal with. But yes, the next time the Texans come to Buffalo, I plan to be there.
