I'm about to apply for grants (and loans)to finance several business ventures I was interested in, and I bought books, and tapes and been to seminars on the subject, and studied how to write the proper grant and business proposal to learn how to properly apply for grants. They are free money from the government that doesn't have to be paid back as long as you use it for what they give it to you for, and there are thousands of grants for people who don't know what grants are. Has anybody here applied for a grant before? Could you give me any tips or info? And I was going to apply over the mail for grants, and go to companies and personally apply for these grants, but does anybody know if it is possible to electronically (through e-mail, fax, etc.) apply for programs like these? ------------------ Dream a deadly Dream. . . My wife got some grants for college. I don't think it was very hard to do, either. I would guess that it's easier to get a grant for education, though. If you want to know more, just say so and I'll ask her more about it. I think she just went to some financial aid office on campus and picked up some forms. My guess is that it's probably similar to your case in that it's a service that's easy to utilize that not many people take advantage of. You just have to know what to do.

Rocks, I didn't forget about you. Unfortunately I don't think I can provide much help. My wife tells me that the grants she got for college, she applied for in high school. Basically she got some forms at some office in high school and filled them out. That's all I know about it. Wish I could provide more help, but that's all I know! Good luck man.
