When Bush spoke about this last week (I think), he hoped to have a deal on his desk within a month. From the sound of it, the details might be done today and then it will take a couple of weeks to wind its way through Congress. Very impressive, especially given the general childishness of the leaders on both sides in Congress and in the White House.
