Are there any worth noting around Houston? I am not talking about roach coaches...I mean ones like Kogi BBQ or Austin City Press. I havent seen many here, only ones like Oh My Pocket Pies and Fusion Taco. Any other ones? I really dig these yo.
I hear Ribs On Wheels (R.O.W.) is good Although I've never seen them actually roll from the parking lot. It's along 1464 near bellaire I think
I've been to the pocket pie lunch truck and it was a little bit above average, while being way more expensive than a regular joint. what does gourmet actually mean?? I really think calling something gourmet varies with different people, eh? Gourmet Chocolate, wtf is that; same ****, only in a fancier looking wrapper. Gourmet is just paying a little bit more.. rant over Go n try some Gourmet quesdillas at el taconazo at fulton, well worth your money.
Kogi BBQ is really good. Theres lots of gourmet trucks here in socal but most of them are mediocre and the good ones usually have long lines and arent worth the wait. Love Kogi though.
Desi Grill and More 12672 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77014 Tandoori Nite 7821 Hwy 6 South Houston, TX 77083 Both have the same owner and are very very good. For vegetarian I heard that Bansuri Indian Food Corner is good Bansuri Indian Food Corner 11468 Wilcrest Dr Houston, Texas 77099
what type of food do they serve in the desi grill? I've passed by it many times, but i keep hearing that indian food is too spicy. Also, is it pricey.. It's gourmet? thanks
I mean not a roach coach...basically people are designating them "gourmet" as to not confuse them with roach coaches...thats all. They could be serving poop on a bun but itll still get that title from reviewers etc etc.
There might have been more relevant threads to bump, say, around 2012-2013. 2010 was right before the boom.
Usually some good ones around the BBVA stadium when the Dynamo play. I don't remember what they were called buy I had the best corndog in my life from one of them before.
Phojita and St. John's fire are the best I've had and I've tried a lot of them Desi grill is the best one that never moves
I saw Eatsie Boys expanded to a brick and mortar operation but still offer their mobile menu in the Montrose area.
