Yeah, they came with today's Chronicle. Though, the years seem to be wrong as well as the locations.

They are replicas. I think Chronicle is doing some sort of a commermative (sp?) Super Bowl tickets for all of the previous Super Bowls.

Are they going to open the roof or close it?

    That's really lame. Especially if it's a day/night like today/tonight. What gives?

I think it was last week in one of the playoff games that I heard one of the announcers say that they had already decided to roof was to be closed.

It may have been the Texans/Colts game, though.

Yes, I am quite aware. You get 2 free ones with todays Chron and then you have to buy the rest.

That is lame. Open that thing up and it feels like a better super bowl already.

Closed roof? Even on a bright and sunny day?

That just doesn't sound right. Are we sure this is accurate?

That blows. They better leave the roof open if it is a clear and sunny day.

I can't find anything to confirm it, but the announcer said it would be closed. I hope he was wrong, because I think it would be a way better Super Bowl with an open roof.

I think it depends on the weather.

I am going to Vegas for the Super Bowl...the Venetian has tons of good seats, and lots of gambling...

i think the roof will be closed probably more for security reasons than anything else, huh?

Well that's just stupid...if someone decides to bomb Reliant (God forbid) it won't matter if the roof is open or closed...either way, there'll just be a hugeass crater left.

The roof is going to be closed.

I don't have tickets, but I did get a gold coin that has the Super Bowl logo on one side and the NFL logo on the other. It's damn sweet. It looks like 14k gold. :)

I was told that in baseball mlb says if you have a roof it must be closed in all playoff games. but since it is football I dont know that they would ever make a rule like that (since weather is a part of it and all)..

NFL probably already decided I guess.. I also have heard dif things about the playing surface.. are they going to keep the grass as it is or try and put artificial turf or something down..

I remember in 2001, the astros had the roof opened.
