It was about time, but still pisses me off....So the thursday before last I left austin to go to houston before I left for spring break and was driving in my girlfriends car ( if i was in my car I would have gone at least 20 mph faster). Was on cruise control at about 79-80 on the phone when my radar went off I slammed on my brakes and noticed a cop coming the other direction with his lights on. I knew right then I was screwed, cop said I was goin 80 in a 70, didnt really give me anytime to argue with him and gave me my ticket. The ticket was for 151 and I could have taken drivers ed butnI ended up payin extra 50 for defferred disposition (i think same as judification) and am on probation for 10 days in lagrange.....thought it was funny to have a 10 day probation but they just wanted extra money...
So am I, I got my first ticket 2 days ago. I was turning left onto a road, the lane on my side was clear, so I slowly accelerated onto the road, and this pick-up truck all of sudden changed to my lane without any turning singal, hit me right on the passenger side. And the cop said since he was on the road, so he has the right of way. With all the BS, I have to pay a 200 dollars ticket, pay another 100 bucks for his truck (since he hit me with his trailer, his truck was hardly damaged at all), and 400 bucks to fix my car. I hate cops and those horrible drivers
