Okay guys. Here are some pics of my Mustang. I will also be adding a Cobra Grill Insert in the very near future... ;D
Oh no I can only imagine what your life will be life since you gave everyone your license plate number: Operator: Hello 911 what is your emergency Clutch.BBS member: There is a red mustang who looks drunker than he11! He just ran me and Steve Francis off the road! Operator: Sir, Where is the mustang now Clutch: Uhhhh he's driving on the sidewalk Seriously tho, nice car. One of my roommates in college had a mustang and it was a great car
Nice looking 5-ooooh! Like the wheels. I'm working on a Mustang for my cousin (she goes to UGA and has a crappy little Toyota). It's a 91 LX 4 cylinder, but we're going to paint it that great royal blue and we've got a great 302 crate motor we're going to put in it. It will be her surprise Christmas present from my Uncle and Aunt and me. I had to look all over Creation to find some SVT Cobra wheels, but man, is that car going to look tight. And it is going to be damned fast with the SVO heads we put on there.
better beef up the suspension slammer... the suspension those 4 banger Stangs came with cant handle the power that a real motor will provide. Unless she doesnt take advantage of the juice and drives it like a sane person (which almost never happens with Mustang owners)
We're working on that. We have a Dana rear axle with an anti-sway bar with some nice coilovers from the SVT catalogue, plus some a nice brake upgrade removed from a pair of wrecked donor GT Mustangs. The nice thing about it is she won't have to pay V-8 insurance since the VIN will state the engine is a 4 cylinder.
Bonus! Sounds like you've got everything covered. What a lucky girl.. I wish someone would give me a fully restored Shelby Cobra.... no luck, oh well...
I just took down the plate from one of the cars in the backgroud and got a address. I will be there soon to slash your tires and throw some gummi worms in your gas tank. On a serious note though nice car. Even though I dont like american cars that much, especially recent ones.
Did you see, by the way, that Carroll Shelby signed on to help Ford make a new Shelby Mustang and Shelby Cobra based on the redesigned 2004 model? I also think it's interesting that Shelby is making "new" GT500s in his factory in the Dallas area. Stripping down old 1967 Mustangs and restoring them into replicas of the Eleanor car from Gone in 60 Seconds. They take the original Mustang and strip it down to bare metal before they are fitted with new engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, wheels, tires and interiors. The exteriors get Eleanor body pieces and new paint. Only $80K a pop.
I was not in fact aware of that....all I can say is... *drool* God I loved the Eleanor car....I cringed during that entire sequence while Cage tore that car up..
