Just picked up this game yesterday and so far I'm loving it...its more like MGS1 than 2 but with better graphics and gameplay. I like how you dont use rations but rather a use of real first-aid procedure called Cure to fix gun shot wounds,burns and broken bones. Guards AI are much smarter with a lager field of vision and you have to use the right camoflage strategies to get pass or avoid them. This game is set mostly in the jungle of the Soviet and its a game of survival. I'm just clocking 2 hrs into the game and still haven't meet up with any real boss yet, and judging from the cinematic story line, they look real cool and very tough.
Soviet jungle? I know the game takes place in the 60's. Does anybody have a better idea of where it takes place?
In three and a half hours, I will be working on a lager field of vision, but I'm not sure I'll be feeling any smarter.
"Snake eater" has some like unfortunate, unintended connotations. I'd hate to see the list of titles they threw out.
