    Damn, I almost forgot about how I found out there is a registered offender living on the same street as the elementary school I went to. I can't believe that would be allowed.

    Wow, There are four just down the street from me. Three guys and one lady. All of them Sexual Assault Child except for one which is Aggravated Sexual Assault Child.

    What's scary is how many of them are for child p*rn, or indecency with a child, etc.

    It is a red square and according to the site that means the offense was against a child or children.

    I did a search on my parent's place and it turns out that a friend of a friend was charged with sexual assault... :eek:

    I know a guy who when he was 18, had sex with his 16 year old girlfriend. Her dad found out and now he's a registered sex offender.

    The two of them are still together now, he's 24, she is 22. Don't be so quick to judge.

    I think sexual assault is a step up on statutory rape... different categories...

    A buddy of mine and Harrisment's founded his company for this very reason (long before the site you mentioned).... He has a software system that scans all IDs of people who enter schools like family and workers on the campus and compares their names/IDs to a sex offender database. If your kid's school doesn't have the software then you should suggest it...

    Please note I am not trying to put a commercial out there for them, but I can tell you that I am happy all the kids in my life go to schools in Friendswood that has the system....

    I really don't like the idea of them posting an actual address of those people. Picture and relative location is fine. There are alot of wackos and punk kids out there who would attempt to harrass or harm these people.

    Do they have similar systems for people who commit other crimes such as armed robbery, and assault? I'm more worried about living near someone who is prone to violence or violent theft than sexual assualt.
