This new program from Google is badass. It recognizes dates from your Gmail messages and enters them into the calendar automatically. Plus, adding dates and events into the calendar is 3x easier than Outlook (and Outlook synching is coming soon). On top of it all, you can search for external calendars and integrate them into your own calendar with the click of a button. I added Rockets and Astros game calendars into my personal calendar, and it literally took me 10 seconds to do it. Get it here.
I am using it and I LOVE it! I am going to put all of the station events on one and I will post a link to it once it is set up. Chance
Man google is just taking old things we use all the time and reworking them so they are much better. Calendar, maps, mail, searching web/ desktop, video, picture editing (picasa) -- I just read a rumor that they are going to build a massive high speed wireless network... amazing stuff.
I'm kinda torn between two online calendar applications. www.30boxes.com and Google Calendar I think 30 boxes is more intuitive, and well I started using it about a month ago. Google on the other hand has huge potential, and will probably become more intuative as it progresses (30 boxes looks for key words like "birthday," and then puts that date annually for each proceeding year). I'll probably end up using both for a bit, and then slowly switch to Google.
Yes...and it sucks because they haven't updated my neighborhood in at least 4 years. I know this because it shows my street, but my house wasn't built yet.
You can just ask, yo. No need to SHOUT. Seriously, it's been out for maybe a year. I am using this calendar thingie since last week. I don't have too much to say, though.
