I'd urge you to continue the struggle for good against the forces of the liberal douchebaggery that exists in this forum.

 

Why are you leaving? I certainly will miss you. You were one of the last true bastions of democracy, free speech, and humanity; a true mercenary against corruption and abuse of power.

 

Why not spend one of your last posts here bigtexxx to let us know why you're leaving?

We might not have agreed on much, but I enjoyed having you around, sorry to see you leave.

Huh! I didn't think of that. Could he honestly be running away from what he expects to be a GOP defeat in the upcoming elections? I would be very disappointed in him if that was the case.

Yep, that's exactly it. Same reason Jorge ran away. This forum was only fun for them when the general public was snowed by Bush. When people started waking up Jorge split town (along with treeman, johnhayes and the rest) and texxx can't wait to follow.

I'm hoping somewhere in his last 20 posts he'll make his first good one. But I'm not hoping too hard.

Good point. That sort of backhanded fakeout wouldn't surprise me at all. And, as much as I'm sure texxx doesn't want to be around for the outcome of the 06 and 08 elections, I'm thinking he'll have a hard time staying away. You're probably right that this whole thing's a New Coke style scam to announce a new moniker or something. Can't ever trust these guys to do what they say they will.

 

I'm betting that shortly after bigtexxx leaves we will see an ultra liberal charictature come in here and begin trying to live up to all the slander thrown out against liberals.

 

So, if I understand you guys correctly, bigtexxx is leaving for one of the following reasons:

1) He doesn't want to be around for the next elections, predicting a GOP defeat.

2) He is retiring his moniker and will create a new account instead (hopefully Clutch would keep us informed on this )

3) When he retires, Trader_Jorge makes a sudden comeback.

4) His significant other is forcing him to do it (alas Kim).
