With Google and SOPA toughening up on piraters my favorite website is no longer working, Zamzar. Does anyone have any good youtube to mp3 converters that they know of?
That's strange. The websites seem to work on my laptop but not on my dad's. I will say that his is computer is issued to him from work so I wonder if that has anything to do with it. Zamzar keeps saying that "Google does not want you to convert this video" but on my laptop it works.

I'd be very wary of using your father's work computer for anything, much less converting youtube videos to MP3.
Just copy any whatever YT link you want to convert and swap "www." with "pwn" and you have a list of converting options as well as video rips
In FireFox, I use "YouTube to Mp3 1.2.3"... it saves only as MP3 OR I use "Download YouTube Videos as Mp4 and FLV 1.4.3". Both of these are extensions.
He was the one that is asking for me to figure this out for him. For some reason they all work fine on my laptop but his it is kinda strange. He says UH (he's a professor) didn't put any thing on it either.

Yup, I use easy youtube video down loader and throw that file into goldwave which cost money but you can get audacity which is free and edit and save as mp3. I always find the need to delete silent parts(beginning + end), I hate that.
