Having just read up on Darius Rice, I think he may be someone worth looking into for the Rox. Kid can shoot the ball, and is athletic, he doesn't have an inside game and is thin, but he is the type of 3(except maybe defensively) that Van Gundy would like, handles, shot, and athletic. If everyone's favorite Duhon isn't available and Rice is I wouldn't mind seeing the Rox go for him.

While he comes from good bloodlines, he seems to be EG without the defense. Maybe the Rockets can teach him how to play defense, but if we want to take on a project, why not go after Andre Emmett? He might be 6'5" without a long range shot, but his scoring ability and athleticism might allow him to develop into a solid scorer off the bench.
If Andre Emmett is there when the Rockets are up I love to see them take him. I think emmett could be a steal. I'd pass on Rice.
