Well, sadly, I blew my Land Rover's engine. Apparently, radiator fluid is necessary for operating a vehicle. I figured cursing at it was sufficient. Anyway, I need a new car.

So far, I've been looking on ebay, craigslist, and autotrader. Any other places to find great deals?

the internet in general... I don't think you'll find any better deals then from those 3 places you mentioned.

For you, Fatty, you should try the impoundment lot.

Is there any way to search craigslist nationwide for cars? It seems to only find cars in Houston.

For a decent used car go to
www.gocarguys.com , they repair damaged cars then resell them for pretty cheap. Just make sure you check everything before you buy it from them because they have a "as is" policy and won't fix say the CD player if it was broken.

Shipping a car is so easy these days. I shipped my car from Houston to NYC a little while ago for $500. It was cheaper than actually driving it up here all the way.

Basically, the car shipper will come to your house and pick up the car. It is then delivered to your doorstep. Can't get much easier than that.
