I'm just talking about a good old fashioned, regular massage, to work out some of the stress I'm going through during tax season, nothing more. Can anyone recommend a place? Thanks!

One thing you might consider is a short chair massage. They offer them at Whole Foods. 15 minutes and they really are good.

The one I use is probably not what you want. She is a reflexologist - she works mainly on the nerve endings in your feet. She's awesome, but not the stress-reducing kind you need.

There is a place right around the corner from me in the Heights, but I can't think of the name of the place. If you don't mind spending a little extra, I'd seriously consider one of the day spas like Urban Retreat. They are awesome.

I always get nervous at the Shiatsu massages. What if the girl slips while stepping on my back?

i've been to urban retreat and persona day spa. the lady at urban retreat was really nice. i think her name was stephanie? in any case, it began with "S."

it was $75 for an hour plus tip but my bf bought a gift certificate for me. i was stressed helping my sis plan for her wedding so it was PERFECT!!

    enjoy! :)

With or without the "happy ending"?

Thought that was the whole point of the massage.

Not necessarily, but a big "O" would be a happy ending.

    :D

PS - No, I don't mean Oscar Robertson.

Don't the happy ending establishments also typically double as a langerie (sp?) modeling studio? Not that I know anything about that sort of thing.
