I haven't gone out and purchased any of the new video game consoles because I don't spend that much time playing video games and I find them way too expensive. But lately I've been wanting a boxing game and don't really know if there are any good ones for the PC platform that you guys could suggest. I don't really care if they're a couple of years old, if they're entertaining.

    Suggestions?

4D Boxing came out in 1991 but is still one of the best boxing games ever. The graphics are not what you get nowadays but the physics and gameplay are great. You build your own boxer and then move up the ranks to fight the champion. Very fun.
Plus, it's considered Abandonware so you can find sites out there to download it from. It's less than 500k. However, it'll take some playing around to get it to work since it's a DOS game.

I believe the PC boxing game (and fighting games as well) went the way of the dodo years ago.

if it ain't an RPG/RTS/FPS/Sim it's pretty hard to find on PC.

I believe there are a few budget/shareware boxing sims out there though.
