Which player is on a hot start right now that you don't think they'll be able to maintain?

    Obvious candidates:

    Curry
    George
    Drummond
    Porzingas

I'll go with George. Dude takes a lot of midrange pullup jumpshots that i dont think will be going in as efficient as it has been.

I know Curry will probably be the logical answer here... because of a) Rocket fans hate him and b) his numbers are historical.

Porzingis is a rookie. We dont' even know what his base is to call it being on fire, and he's also a rookie. He will hit probably the rookie wall but that's different from the others who are veterans.
I think none of this list is so much "on fire". My choice would be wiggins, fournier ,reggie jackson and knight.

Curry can cause so much damage by just stepping on the court, team is so talented with spacing & small lethal lineups.

I agree. All these guys are easily capable of keeping up their pace.

Drummon was a great rebounder last year (24%), this year he's at 27%, not a huge jump or anything... He just has more rebound chances bc it's Marcus Morris next to him instead of Monroe.

Curry is right in line with his 3pt% for the year, He's taking more shots (and getting better shots assisted from Green) than last year, but nothing really crazy. It's funny that 45% from 3 for Curry is nothing crazy.

As for George, I think people forget that like 2 years ago PG was considered a top 10 player. He's the one guy that's shooting much better than he has in the past (from 36% to 43%), but he's still young, maybe he worked on his game. This probably regresses to the mean a bit, I'd see him settling in around 38-39%.

How long until Curry just starts pulling up from half court?

He's the best player in the world I don't think he will ever cool off

Paul George was considered top10 the 1st half the year before fading out.
Based on that, the easy answer to the question is Paul George. He has history!!

Could we trade Curry and Drummond for our 2 guys (H&H)... Lol, I'm not serious but I think everyone on this list other than the knick guy is better than our team currently. .. Okay on topic... I'd love to say curry but in all seriousness he's playing insane, I do wonder how well he'd do on a different team though... But honestly that doesn't matter. So probably the zinger guy from the Knicks since he hasn't exactly done that much... 12 and 8??? Lol
