You won't have to camp out to see the new trailer. Fox to run 'Stars Wars' trailer By Andy Seiler, USA TODAY When the full-length coming attractions trailer for Star Wars, Episode I: The Phantom Menace first played in theaters, fans camped out to see it. For the new Star Wars film, Episode II: Attack of the Clones, it will be much easier: The 2 1/2-minute "full launch trailer" will premiere on Fox TV March 10 sometime between 8:30 and 10 p.m. ET/PT. "We want to give as many people as we can a chance to see it in theaters on a big screen, but a lot of people watch television," says Lucasfilm's Jim Ward. The trailer will make its debut in theaters five days later, March 15, with the computer-animated family film The Ice Age. (Shorter "teaser" trailers have already played in theaters and are on the Phantom Menace DVD.) "The trailer is all about Jedi action," Ward says. "There are some great action sequences in this trailer." It takes place around 10 years after Episode I. Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen), who becomes the future Darth Vader, and Padmé Amidala (Natalie Portman) fall in love on one adventure, while in another, Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) lands us on two planets we've never seen before. The infamous Jar Jar Binks returns, as well as R2-D2, C-3PO, Palpatine, Mace Windu and the one and only Yoda. The movie — the whole movie — opens May 16.
SMALL SPOILER COMING No he'll be a senator and limited to scenes on Coruscant. Also I don't think n*stink will be in the movie.
