Supercard, M3, G6, Ewin6, EZ4, Neoflash are gba sized catridges that allow you to play back ups of your nds games. They all support different flash memory, the newest versions supporting microSD. These require you to either have a reflashed nds or a super pass (ds sized catridge that tricks the nds to play nds games through the gba slot). The latest product from Supercard and Ewin6 are designed specifically for the nds lite.

There are new versions coming out (ninjads and dslink) that are ds size and will not take up the gba slot. The only negative is that you have to reflash your nds (not sure if i want to risk it).

With a reflash or one of the mentioned adapters + software, you can listen to mp3's, watch movies, play nes/snes etc roms and even use opera web browser (awfully slow). I wasn't sure how to break this info, since this isn't really anything new if you own the original ds. Do a search and you'll find a website with over 500 nds roms.... People talk about PSP's 1.5, homebrew etc but why hasn't anyone mentioned this?

Hey RC did you know about this? Does this make you want to purchase a nds? (not sure if you already own one)

I wasn't aware about it, but then again, I stopped really paying attention to the homebrew scene for the handhelds a LONG time ago. I might look into it later to get an idea on this stuff.

This by itself wouldn't really get me to buy a DS (mainly because I grew bored with similar things on the PSP very quickly). There are much better reasons to get a DS than this IMO; I still need to finish off my PC/PS2/PSP backlog (which might include DQ8, SOTC, and FFXII pretty soon) before I really start looking at the DS...might even be a nice time for another price cut when I finish up with those games ($99 DSL would be awesome).
