My boss gave me the option yesterday of staying home. I told him, "oh no, no, I'll come in because I need the hours." Waking up this morning with my two chihuahuas snuggled on either side of me well....I called in and stayed in bed another hour! Hey its a beautiful day for a nice bike ride. What are you guys up to?
My boss said we could surf online as long as we close the window if the bank manager comes in. Getting paid to surf the internet..
I am in the office waiting for the big wigs to give the official mandate to go home. I have a feeling they will wait until after noon to let us go. Until then, I shall continue surfing while getting paid nicely to do it.
I'm at work. It was a nice drive in without all the traffic everywhere. The roads were eerily quiet for the most part. I don't much feel like working, though, but a worker has to do what a worker has to do I guess. It seemed all the cars were wrapped around the Whataburger AM drive-thru as I noticed passing by. Am I happy that Good Friday is not a holiday for everyone? Absolutely not! A lot of people take vacation on this day as well. Hopefully, someone will come along and let us go early afternoon.
Working... had over 40 hours yesterday... time-and-a-half all day today... sitting around daydreaming about my new tv that's supposed to be delivered tomorrow.
At home getting prepared for the onslaught of family due starting tonight. It's going to be a fun weekend.
Because it is tax season, we have been working from 9am - 9pm since March 1. I will be here until 9pm tonight as well.
Looking at this thread, it makes me wonder why more company don't outsource the jobs over seas. Heck they prolly surf the net too but do it only at a fraction of salary
