A few good experiences, moestavern19 is pretty cool in general, as far as boyfriends go. Kam and Miguel are awesome, and I consider them good "in real life" friends. everyone i've met, madmax, RM95, RunninRaven, The_Yoyo, Dave2000, seclusion, krosfyoh, etc. all seem like kickass people. i don't know where the hell i'd be without this site.

I have partied myself into a stumbly stupor with RM95, Buck Turgidson, JBIIIRockets, MadMax, Fatty Fat b*stard & Lynus302. One of my bands has played live at Stack24's fine establishment (Live Sports Cafe) and he always hooks a BBS brother up when you go and visit. RM95, Buck Turgidson, Jeff, Gwayneco and Major Malcontent have seen me play music in clubs, and I have seen Orange is In (Jeff's band) play live.
I've known MadMax for years. Great guy. I had dinner at Nick's and watched a game with RM95. Also a great guy. That's really about it. I have met 2 BBS members. Both are really great people.
Lemme post a few, off the top of my head. Major for a kickass job and general badass friend. RocketmanTex for opening his house and goodies for boxing matches. Buck Turgidson for various ****, but most recently the kickass venison sausage on Monday night and helping me move some crap a month ago. Mad Max for support and guidance during the rough patch in my marriage (same applies to Buck and Jeff). NJ Rocket for Astros tickets and golf clubs! cheivious minniefield for various things, including 3rd row seats to Rockets and tickets to the MLB All-Star game. Wish he'd start posting again. Stack24 for duh. StupidMonkier for a shot of tequila before a DMB concert and company watching the NFL last year out in Cali. Chance for free tickets to DMB a couple years ago. B-Bob for helping show me and the future Mrs. around San Francisco a few years ago. Clutch for inviting me to his house several years ago and for this site. Dave2000 for tickets to Rockets games. TheFreak for kickass music and for calling to ask how my sister was after she lost her baby. Behad and heypartner for opening their homes and filling my stomach with wonderful food. AnotherBrother for making me laugh my ass off for free and meeting Kid. Master Baiter for buying me wings one night. JBII and Drewdog for just being good friends. The music thread posters for introducing me to new music. 99% of the Astros/Texans posters for reminding me how much I love my sunny disposition. That leaves off so many posters I've met who I'd love to hang out with again, including FFB, Refman, Harrisment, codell, moes, Miguel, finalsbound, R2K, Omega Supreme, macalu, Major Malcontent, etc. I'm sure there are many many more that I'm leaving off.
MadMax gave me some legal advice for my sister. JuanValdez gave me some real estate info and his short-lived (on the bbs) wife baked me two cakes. heypartner tried to get me a part-time teaching gig. Jeff's dad gave me three wedding presents (cheating - that was before the bbs). Jeff himself allowed me to feel better about my fast-declining bball skills (6 years ago...shudder to think of them now) by "playing" ball with him...to be fair he was a better jump shooter than I but he literally couldn't run so I would have killed him in a game. BGM gave me the warm fuzzy feeling of thanking me for advice/mentoring I gave him. Generally, though, I am afraid of you people and try to avoid interaction.
Heypartner-letting me crash at his place robgue-his family let me stay at their place naismith and xerobull-getting me some shots scyman and raid-dinner and hospitality r2k-videos i mean seriously i am forgetting a crap load of people but every cf.netter i have met have been great. there is some sort of bond between all the cf people here, more than just the rockets, but everyone i met this past weekend were good people i had a blast and hope to come back out again to do it again. seriously being with cf people makes me feel right at home
I've had great experiences with several posters before. andymoon and I swapped my ps2 for his xbox and we hung out for several hours at his house. He and his wife are great people. Unfortunately we live on the complete opposite sides of town or I'm sure we'd hang out often. adeelsiddiqui bought a cell phone from me and I bought a microsd chip from him. Good deal both ways. Seems like a cool guy. Miguel hooked me up with opening day tickets to the Astros. Mailed them to my apartment and I had them the next day. Fatty FatBastard has invited my girlfriend and me to hang out with him and his friends but between the month of March (Spring Break) and getting the house done we haven't been able to yet. We will though! Stack24 ALWAYS hooks us up huge when we hang out at Live. Another Brother had tickets for me when I lived in Indianapolis and my wife (at the time) got sick and we didn't go. I still regret not being able to see him. The next time you come to Houston, we are there. I just need a little bit advance notice so we can plan. I've missed out the last couple of times because I couldn't plan. I have several rounds for you on me. I've met about a dozen or so people from the board at various get togethers and everyone I've ever met has been really cool. OmegaSupreme, macalu, Swoly-D and his wife, Rocketman95, Harrisment, Buck Turgidson, Batman Jones, Miguel, Smeggy Smeg, JBIIRockets, etc. I know I'm leaving some people out that I've met but I'm terrible at remembering names. We need to plan another Clutch get together. Any ideas? I'd be willing to host something at my place once we move. Maybe a second round playoff game? I know it would be a haul for most of you to come up to north but we love to entertain and should have plenty of room for quite a few people.

Univac Hal - Who had a beer with a clutchfan on the otherside of the World. Rockets fan stuck in MN - Who I watched game 3 of the 2005 playoffs in the Mall of America. I haven't seen on the board much but would still be up for doing a CF.net North get together. R2K - For all those vids. Other than those I've had a great experience meeting Clutchfans in person and am always up for having a beer with a Clutchfan. Almost forgot Weslinder - Who put up with some impossible to hear cell phone calls during the Hornets' game.
